Shopping in Europe:

The shopping culture in Europe differs from the culture in - for example - the US and Asia. Europeans were long used to small and cozy shops. Just recently (compared to other world regions) the huge shopping malls were introduced in Europe (last 10 years). Nowadays most of the big European cities have multiple big shopping complexes. Cities like London, Paris and Madrid are well known for their shopping possibilities. Europeans still like to shop in the more traditional shopping streets. Every major city has numerous small shops in the city centre, great for strolling through streets of nice shops.
